For me, the French Riviera is all about the water.
The perfectly cool waters of the azure-blue Mediterranean Sea.
I love being in it, on it, over and under it.
I love the ever-changing colors, the smell of the salt air, and the constant beat of the waves.
I've stood on the beach in Nice many times, and simply stared out at the sea. It's as if there is nowhere else to be, and nothing else to do.
